From Lorna Dietz - Editor’s Note: I just received a re-tweet (Twitter.com) from my sister, Noemi Dado, that Manolo Quezon (or Manuel Quezon III) had tweeted about the THE PHILIPPINE DISASTER MANAGEMENT STORY: ISSUES AND CHALLENGES. Published October 2001 by Asian Disaster Preparedness Center.

TO “MANONG” BEN MENOR, from Gerome Vizmanos

Hi Manong,
It’s been a while since we’ve last seen each other. I’m writing from Manila, where I reside half my time doing business. Unfortunately the Philippines is going through a tough time with the recent Typhoons. I’ve spent the past couple of weeks helping and coordinating relief efforts.
Note: Gerome is one of Ben’s former high school students. He made this slideshow as a personal tribute to the typhoon victims, accompanied by the song popularized by Charice, “Note to God.” No copyright infringement intended.
